A good friend is always going to be supportive of your relationship and be there for you when things don’t follow through the way you want them to. On the other hand, sometimes a friend acts a little peculiar, or is there for your partner in times of need more than they are for you. There are a few ways to tell if your friend is trying to steal away your significant other, if you suspect they may be pining for their affection. Better yet, there are always ways to thwart their progress and remind them of who is dating who.

One way to tell what their intentions are is to, first and foremost, listen to your partner. If your partner loves and trusts you, then they will likely report back to you of any questionable things done or said by your friend. Feel free to approach the issue with both parties in a diplomatic and mature manner. It never hurts to try and talk things out before jumping to any wild assumptions or letting things fester quietly.

It may not exactly be flirtations, either, that your friend throws toward your partner. Sometimes, it’s a little more subtle. There are certain things to look for, if you suspect your friend may be interested. For instance, does your friend always want to talk about them? Does your friend give you questionable advice for your relationship that may later backfire? Does your friend seem to side more often than not with your significant other when an argument arises between the two of you? And is your friend there at the weak points of your union to help your partner rather than you? Or perhaps they say they’re helping your partner for you.

Either way, whether subtle or direct, if you sense their motives are to try and injure your relationship for their own personal gain, the best thing you can do is talk to them about it. Depending on the compatibility of personalities and attitudes, you may be able to grab your partner and friend and talk to them together in a three-way conversation. If you talk things out, but the behavior still continues, you may want to consider distancing yourself and your lover from that not-so-great friend. Give things some time to boil over during that period and see how things go on down the line.

If you find that your friend continues to disrespect you, or that their previous behavior has worsened, then it may be time to just ignore that friend permanently. Some people just don’t learn, and sometimes they just never will. No good would come out keeping negative energy around you and your relationship. Be aware that all a friend like that does is wish for you to fail so they can reap the rewards of their long-term discouragement. You know your relationship is in danger when you come home and find most of your stuff sitting out on the front porch. The problem with that is that you should have known a long time before that there were problems, but you refused to accept the fact that things were going downhill. Now, every guy out there has had to spend a night or two on the sofa because of something they did, but when you find your stuff sitting on the porch, it’s usually too late for flowers or a romantic dinner to set things right again.

The thing you need to realize is that you should have been doing the flowers and dinners before you found your stuff on the front porch. Most guys think that just because they have been married for ten years or longer that they don’t have to worry about all those spur of the moment things that you used to do when you were dating. The truth is that is exactly what you should be doing, and you should make sure that it is for no particular reason as well. Doing it only on special occasions is nice, but kind of predictable.

You are going to find that if you surprise your wife from time to time with something they would expect, it will lessen the likeliness of your stuff being thrown out on the front porch. That means you won’t have to worry about sleeping on your friend’s sofa until you figure out what you are going to be doing with your life. You will also find that it will keep her on her toes trying to figure out why you are being so nice for no reason. That’s something you can use to your advantage in the next argument you get into.

The main thing you should remember is that you should never take your wife for granted. You may not understand everything that sets her off, but she is the only one that actually wanted to marry you, and because of that, you got lucky. You may think that going back to your bachelor life would be fun, but things have changed since the time when you were single and you aren’t going to find things fun after a month or so. It is much better for you to keep your wife happy than it is to be single these days.

All jokes aside, you should do everything in your power to make sure that you and your wife can talk through your arguments rather than getting into fights. Keeping the lines of communication open is extremely important to make your relationship as strong as possible, and to do that you have to talk to each other. You can’t just keep things bottled up inside you and expect your partner to understand what is wrong with you. Give your wife the benefit of the doubt and explain things in a non-defensive manner so that the two of you can talk it all out and keep your stuff from being thrown out onto the porch. Everyone tells a lie at some point in time during their lives. There’s no getting around it. Most likely, even George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, both known for their extreme honesty, probably lied on occasion. Of course, there’s no way of knowing how many times these men lied to their wives, but you can bet that since they were human, they did lie sometimes. When it comes to lying, it can be the thing that tears your relationship apart or it can be the thing that actually saves your relationship.

That may sound like an odd statement but it’s quite true. Yes, honesty is something that should be a part of all relationships, but that doesn’t mean that it’s ALWAYS the best policy. For instance, when you ask your husband or boyfriend if you look fat in an outfit and he tells you yes, chances are that there will be at the very least some hurt feelings. Depending on your mood, there may be a true blowout. So, you can see that if he had simply told you that you looked great, then both of you could have gone out and had a lovely evening. This is also known as “telling little white lies.” Their purpose is to keep from hurting someone’s feelings over something insignificant.

Many people are proud to be known as someone that will ALWAYS tell the absolute truth. In fact, these people will even WARN you ahead of time that if you don’t want to know the full truth, then you shouldn’t ask them any questions. That’s all well and good but, in the end, how many true friends do they actually have? Whether you like it or not, there are simply certain instances where it’s better to fib a bit than to really hurt someone by telling the brutal truth.

As with most things, though, there’s another side to this coin. Lying just for the sake of lying or keeping yourself out of trouble isn’t the best idea. This is especially true if there’s a very good chance that you’re going to be caught in your lie. Lying creates some of the worst trust issues that you’ll ever encounter in your life. If you’re in a relationship where your partner tends to lie to you, there may be other dishonest things that he does regarding you. Most likely, his lies are told because he’s trying to cover a secret affair. Of course, there are many other reasons that your partner may lie to you, but that’s typically number one on the list.

Many times, it’s difficult to know when a lie is appropriate or when it’s being used to cover up for some bad behavior. Obviously, the “bad” lies aren’t acceptable and should never be used. Instead, you should simply behave yourself or end the relationship. On the other hand, there are “white” lies that can save hurt feelings and the truth isn’t all that important anyway. It’s just up to you to figure out which is which.

I think one of the most important things to do is giving attention to eachother both mentally and physically. Career couples have to work even harder, it seems, to make time for each other. That’s why so many marriages and other romantic relationships tend to fail, even those that began so promising. Its not easy to be husband and wife these times.

If you’re in one of these hugely busy relationships, you may worry from time to time that you and your partner don’t have enough quality time together. Even if that’s true, there are ways that you can inject some of that lost romance back into your relationship. Believe it or not, none of them are costly or difficult. They’re simple and cheap, with some not costing anything at all.

Leaving little love notes for your significant other is something that couples have practiced for centuries. This doesn’t mean that you dash off an email or send off a one of those sexy, naughty ecards. It means that you take the time to write something loving, sweet, or erotic to your love on some pretty paper. Then, you add a slight spritz of your perfume to the paper and leave it somewhere that he’ll find it. It should be obvious that there are basic differences between being in love or just obsessed. Sadly, that’s not always the case. Many people find themselves in relationships that they feel are loving when, in reality, it’s an unhealthy obsession. Even when these people are faced with the facts, they often refuse to admit that they’re more obsessed than in love. In fact, you may be one of those women who is obsessed than in love. So if you haven’t gone completely round the bend, following are some signs that you may be obsessed rather than in love:

You flake on responsibilities because of a chance that you’ll have of running into the object of your obsession. This includes missing work, school or other important appointments because he said he MIGHT call you, or there’s the off chance that if you stay in a certain location long enough, he’ll come in. If you’re blowing off commitments just on the chance that you’ll run into this guy, you should consider yourself to be in serious trouble. When you miss commitments just because of your obsession, you’re only going to be sorry later in life when you don’t even remember this guy’s name.

You miss out on things that you love doing just so that you can be available in case the guy you’re obsessed with decides he has time to call you or wants to see you. What you’re actually doing is putting your life on hold for another person. Now, this may be fine if you’re in a serious relationship or are married, but when this person has done nothing to show you that you mean much to him, it makes no sense for you to rearrange your life for him. You’re only missing out on a lot of fun by doing so.

Your friendships are taking a back seat to your obsession. When you’re obsessed with a guy you’re dating or one that you WANT to date, you’ll tend to ignore your friends in favor of being available for this guy even when he hasn’t called or made plans with you. Eventually, you’ll start driving your friends away from you because they understand that you don’t care much about them now.

If you notice any of these signs within yourself, please take note how far you’ve fallen down the Rabbit Hole. None of these things are even remotely normal. You’re not meant to stop living your life just in CASE some guy decides to give you a call or suddenly shows up to take you to dinner. This is something that could ruin your entire life if you allow it. Something that keeps many single people hopeful is the belief that there’s someone in the world for everyone. This may or may not be true depending on the type of person you’re looking for and what you want to have with this person. So, in actuality, it’s this part that decides if there’s a match for everyone in the world that wants one. It all comes down to what you want to have with another person.

 

The easiest of all connections is the one night stand. Just about any decent looking person can score one of these. Usually, these happen just because a person has an itch that needs to be scratched. You get all dressed up and hit some of the more crowded and popular “meet markets.” That’s where you’ll find other people just like you that are looking for those few minutes or few hours of physical intimacy with someone else. This is pretty simple to make happen. The downside of it is that for many people it turns out to be less than fulfilling. In fact, it can actually only make that emptiness inside of you that much more lonely. For others, though, it does the trick until the next time the itch starts.

 

The next type of connection that may be the simplest to achieve is the person for dating and casual sex. This one is better than the one night stand but doesn’t require a commitment from either party. These are two people that like a lot of the same things and are attracted to each other sexually. While this may sound a lot like the beginning of a real relationship, it can actually be the result of a good friendship. This is all some people require to be happy.

Then, there’s the relationship where a couple are in love and live together with no intentions of getting married. These couples can be either monogamous or have an open style relationship. This type of relationship is becoming more popular in recent times for many reasons.

Then, there’s the traditional relationship where a couple is in love with each other and choose to follow the approach of actually getting married. This relationship is a lot more difficult to have than the other ones because it’s much more serious. In a marriage, two people are committing to each other and making some pretty strong promises to each other in the process. They’re promising not to be with anyone else and to stay together in good times and bad times until death parts them. This is the ultimate goal of many single people and is the hardest to attain, yet it CAN be done.

 

One last type of relationship, and not too common, is the trial relationship. A ceremony is conducted that binds a couple together for a certain time period, usually one year. If, at the end of that time, they want to enter into a traditional marriage, that’s what will happen. If they’ve decided it’s not what they wanted, they can part ways peacefully.

 

So, all in all, there just may be someone for everyone in the world. It just comes down to what you’re looking for.

The Trouble With Being Beautiful

 

Only two days before Christmas and i hope you are all feeling well.  Todays article headline The Trouble With Being Beautiful seems contradictory. Isn`t beauty what we all are longing for and therefore we think that beautiful people are happy and live a fulfilled life. I think beauty sometimes could get in the way for success in the meaning that they are preconceptions among us.  As the article says a beautiful face  and a beautiful mind is possible. Most of the time i do think it is easier for beautiful people in life but unfortunately beauty dont always go hand in hand with self confidence. There are a lot of beautiful people out there who need self confidence even if it may seems strange. However i think the beauty of the heart is most important and that beauty we all do carry inside us and when we share that by supporting others our real beauty shine through.

There are many beautiful women in the world that are stuck home and alone on the weekends simply because of their beauty. This might make no sense whatsoever to those ordinary and even physically unattractive women out there. However, women like this are more likely to have a date when they need and want it, or they’re in a relationship with the guy of their dreams. How is something like that even possible?

 

Believe it or not, it’s very possible. The age old problem of men that fear beauty in a woman never goes away. Even great looking guys can look at a stunning woman and figure that she’s just too gorgeous for him and would never agree to go out with him. So you can imagine how ordinary men feel about risking an approach to a beautiful woman. Therefore, it’s not unusual at all for a great looking woman to be sitting all alone in a bar. The men are too afraid of rejection to approach her. She, on the other hand, may be dying for one of them to just come over and talk to her. The lesson here is that beautiful women may also be beautiful on the inside, too.

 

 

Then, there are the divas. These are gorgeous women that know how hot they are and they really haven’t found anyone that they deem worthy of dating. They know that they can call any guy they want or walk up to any guy in any location and be able to reel them in. This is a problem of a different sort. These women may be lonely due to their incredible beauty, but it’s their own fault. They choose to be high and mighty bitches and there’s really no need to feel sorry for them.

 

Beauty isn’t always on the inside of a great looking woman. These women are a bit different than the divas. The divas kind of know what they’re doing and they’re not always horrible. They just feel a bit entitled because of their beauty. On the other hand, women that are beautiful on the outside many times harbor a soul that’s black as night. These women are alone because they’re simply horrible creatures and have no clue how to treat another human being. They’re manipulative and only pretend to be nice when they want something. These are women to be avoided at all costs.

 

Now, for guys that are on the lookout for a woman to get to know a little better, don’t immediately discount beautiful women. If that gorgeous woman sitting in the bar is giving you some encouraging glances and smiles, then you need to go for it! Lock away those nerves and sidle on over to her. You’ll know within a short few minutes whether or not she’s interested, and you don’t have to be humiliated in order to find out. Chances are good that she’ll be very receptive, especially if she was checking you out first. Give it a shot or you’ll wonder what might have been.

Remember your all beautiful and you all are worthy of a life in love and hapiness!

One thing that people seem to forget in their relationships is the fact that you have to have a sense of humor. There are going to be plenty of times in your lives together that you are going to need to laugh to keep your relationship going strong. Of course, you are going to have to figure out when the appropriate times are to laugh and when it’s probably not such a good idea. After a few years of marriage, you shouldn’t have too much of a problem figuring out those times, though.

 

Everyone feels better when they laugh. After all, laughter is the best medicine. You just have to be able to find the humor in the moments that most people wouldn’t. If you get upset at every little aspect of your life that goes wrong, then you are going to end up being a very angry person when you get older and you will probably be alone to boot. If only you would have laughed a bit more, you would probably be a happily married individual with a loving family. Instead, you are sitting in a nursing home bitching about the taste of the pea soup again.

 

 

 

Everything that happens in your life can have a funny anecdote to it. You just have to look hard enough to find one. Your relationship with your partner is going to have moments where nothing seems to go right and everything is falling apart around you. Don’t give up and don’t give in to the anger that is building up inside you. Instead, you should find something to laugh about and get your partner to join in with you. Even if you have to sit down together and talk about funny things that have happened in your lives before you met each other.

 

Finding things to laugh about and enjoying the time you are sharing together will strengthen your relationship to the point that nothing can affect it. You won’t have to worry about being upset and saying things neither one of you actually means and you can do more things together. You can’t live your life in a bad mood. It’s been tried before, and those people are never fun to be around. You have to make things in your life better for both of you and laughing is the easiest way of accomplishing that.

 

When things have got you down and there seems like there is nowhere for you to turn, just remember that you have a partner that is there for you. The two of you can work through any obstacles that beset you and you should always remember to laugh. Nothing is better than having a person that will laugh with you rather than at you, and your partner should be that type of person. When it comes down to it, you have to be able to give your partner your attention and your love, but you should also remember to give them your sense of humor anytime it may be needed.
